The Challenge
How do you create an unforgettable introduction for a collaboration between two iconic Dutch brands rooted in sustainability and tradition? Dopper, known for its mission against single-use plastic, and Royal Delft, masters of authentic Delft Blue, joined forces to launch a unique line of thermos bottles: The Tide and The Current.
In this video we bring the essence of this partnership to life that resonates with art and design enthusiasts as well as environmentally conscious consumers.
The Big Idea
At Popcorn Stories, we believe in storytelling that makes an impact. For Dopper and Royal Delft, we crafted a visual journey, Born from Blue, inspired by the power of water and the beauty of Delft Blue.
With striking visuals and a minimalist color palette, we let the beauty and sustainability of the bottles speak for themselves. With dynamic editing, serene music, and a touch of poetry, this launch video became the ultimate showcase of the partnership between Dopper and Royal Delft. A masterpiece, Born from Blue.
Impact
Dopper's mission is simple: make refilling the default. In 2024, this translated into 1.6 million bottles sold, preventing 828 million single-use plastics from polluting our planet—20.7 million kilograms of waste stopped before it even existed. But the real impact extends far beyond production numbers.
Behind the Scenes
Behind the scenes, we were especially captivated by the historic Royal Delft building and the craftsmanship of its artists. Witnessing their dedication to preserving centuries-old traditions while embracing modern innovation was nothing short of inspiring. It was a privilege to see their artistry up close and translate that passion into a visual story. Truly impressive.
